How does the process work?

This review may take some time as we want to ensure that all documents are correct and complete. After that, the registration application is digitally signed.
The application is then automatically forwarded to the relevant registration office. Once approved, you will receive a provisional registration confirmation. The final documents and registration seals will be sent by mail.

It is essential that the last registration/reregistration of your vehicle occurred after January 1, 2015. From this date, the new seal stickers and registration certificates with security codes, which are required for online registration, were introduced.

Are the physical license plates included in the registration?

No. The registration covers the registration documents, the registration seals and the TÜV sticker – the registration office sends these to you by post. The physical plates themselves are not included. You can order them conveniently in our plate shop (from €11.97 incl. shipping) or buy them from any plate dealer and attach the seals yourself.
