Is my vehicle deregistered after the deregistration confirmation?

If you have selected online deregistration, the Ludwigshafen registration office may carry out a manual check in exceptional cases despite confirmation of deregistration. This will delay the deregistration by a few working days. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this and this is the sole responsibility of the responsible authority.

Can I use my license plates again after deregistration?

What can I do if the security codes are no longer legible?
